Word is car will be unveiled at the end of the year, with deliveries starting mid next year.
The rear doesn't look great to me.
600hp for the Turbo model will be good though.

Tax advantages if any will play a role , Brand power will pay a part , I wager will be better then most EV out there ie hatch back group and mini SUV , Will do great if interior is luxurious as opposed to Taycans ie material and seats etc . And final but most relevant how will it be priced .I am confident most Porsche owners are both the comfortable in life and teh aspirational in life ==both will not be spending silly money . Obviously there are exceptions
Have had a deposit on one of these for near 2 years. Seeing the photos of the daft looking cut away rear and potentially no towbar option leaves me totally cold. It seems to be a “lifestyle” type of thing rather than a particularly useful family car. The cut away rear loses valuable boot/interior space. Missed opportunity by Porsche. And that’s all before I think about the residuals…. Surely these potentially can’t be as disastrous as the Taycan?

And this is why Porsche have decided to run them alongside the current ICE lineup, so you can still have you're entry level Macan for £53k (which until inflation started with a 4) and the EV one starts with a 7. At one point it was going to be ICE out EV in then everyone would have been up in arms at the £20k price jump. finmac said:

Looks like they have gone down the road of the Cayenne Coupe, which I never understand, why would you want something this big and not have the practicality.Tax advantages at start...then all lost at the sale...

Agreed well said , Alas the Ministry of Peace Truth Love and Plenty will have lots to say about ICE . -I still like Mad Max movie ( Mel Gibson version ) . Guess have to wait until next year to see what the general election thought process is

It is several years from being mined but it seems there’s a potential huge Lithium discovery in the US. Electric is dead.

They didn't watch Panorama?All the dealerships we visited recently, including Porsche, tell us EVs won't work.
Zero petrol, hydrogen, ammonia... lots of better ways than electricity, all zero CO2 emissions.
