Tony has been writing since long before the digital age, working on various car and bike magazines when they were still made of paper (the magazines). He also wrote car and bike books. Before the internet, writing books was a simple matter of plugging in a word processor and copying from other books. Now, you don’t even need the other books.
He often wonders how much of the stuff he wrote over the years was actually correct. Luckily nobody knows what the truth is these days so it doesn’t matter. He can’t remember how old he is but the first car he owned was a red Mk 1 3-litre Capri with a black vinyl roof. 3-litre Capris were dirt cheap back then. Nobody wanted them. Tony didn’t want his one either after his mate borrowed it and parked it under a tree which then fell on it. The vinyl roof didn’t save it.
