I am thrilled to offer for sale this one-off McLaren 650S Le Mans Coupe with notable provenance.

In 1995 and at their first entry, Five McLaren F1 GTR models finished in 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 13th.

In reverence to this incredible achievement McLaren Special Operations, with consultation from the McLaren F1’s original designer Peter Stevens, celebrated this historic achievement by creating the “650S Le Mans” special edition, with only 50 cars produced worldwide, a mere handful delivered to the UK and now rarely changing hands – let alone this particular editions famous origins.

The McLaren F1 GTR (chassis #06R) that finished in P3 in the famous ’95 Le Mans was the highly recognisable Harrods sponsored car finished in Solar Yellow and this particular 650S Le Mans’ single owner, as a friend of the McLaren F1 family, was allowed as the one and only person to have the car completed in matching Solar Yellow, which makes this the absolutely rarest of opportunities to purchase a modern road going McLaren with direct links to its’ illustrious racing parentage.
