Overview

If you’ve ever been tempted by a Lotus Elise but have been talked out of owning an all-out sports car, then the Europa S is the car for you. It takes the Elise platform and makes a few concessions to comfort and practicality so that you could reasonably drive it every day. These include a higher roofline, lower chassis rails, air conditioning, and a sound system.

And this particular Europa benefits from extensive mechanical rebuild, with a fully rebuilt engine, suspension work, and much else besides. This brings the power up to 300 hp, as measured on a dyno, 100 more than the car was originally supplied with.

The transmission, braking, cooling, intake, and exhaust systems have all reportedly been rebuilt and improved, making this quite the machine. It will certainly surprise anyone familiar with the Europa S as it came out of the factory.

Resprayed Starlight Black paintwork, and gold wheels are a superb combination on this car. It looks very smart and presentable, far better than you would expect for a car of this age and mileage. Even the underside is supremely clean.

So if you’re looking for an extremely capable and usable sports car, which has been made even more capable, then this Europa is one to bid on.

Summary

The Europa S offers a tempting combination of great styling and high performance.
