DTC sold my son a truck that was apparently not inspected prior to being sold to him. It ended up not being driveable in less than 2 months. After getting it towed and inspected, the mechanics found a minimum of $1700 in repairs including faulty brakes, lots of rust, and fuel tank/gauge issues. The salesman retired within a week of reporting the issues to the dealership and the sales manager has been unresponsive, unprofessional and disrespectful. The practices and conversations have been very deceitful, bordering on fraud. We are well within our rights of filing for lemon law violations but have been trying to work things out on our own. They’ve made things very difficult and my son has been without a safe truck without major issues for approximately 3 months now.

Had to give 1 star to rate this dealer. That’s one star to many. Had some service work done several months ago. Was $1500 seemed high but they got the work done and got me back on the road. Recently I had air conditioning problem. They diagnose it said it would be $5,180.00! OMG. Several people said take to another dealer because they had heard bad things about rod Hatfield. I took to another reputable new GMC dealer. They diagnosed it and said it would be $2,900.00 WHO can you trust?

Worst customer service I've ever had!!!!!!. They treated me awful. I took my truck back in June for the window not rolling down and it would display the door open and other displays. They charged me over $400 dollars and wasn't fixed. Took it back December 20 for the same issues, they had it 2 days, said it was fixed, charged me $225.00. When I went to pick it up they hadn't fixed anything. I even brought the service man out before I Ieft and showed him that it was still having the same issues as when I dropped it off. But they still kept my money and he told me to bring it back. Would not give me a refund or help in anyway. Dropped it back off December 26. They finally said it was done yesterday, January 19. Roughly 3 1/2 weeks. But while they had it those 3 1/2 weeks I had to repeatedly call to even get an update on my vehicle, they would not call me. I tried calling the service manager several times leaving messages and he never returned my phone calls. They charged me $880 dollars. After picking it up the radio screen is going out. I brought the service person out and showed him and his response was, we did not work around the radio area. This was working fine when I dropped it off I told him. He laughed and said it would cost $400 to $700 to fix radio, even though this happened while they were working on it, they tore it up. I would never go again and would tell everyone don't go there!!!! I also left a message for Mr. Burford to call me and I have not heard from anyone. Poor Poor way to run a business and treat people like this!!!!!

Took my vehicle to them to sell to them, my wife and I agreed with the salesman on a price , when the salesman returned with the paperwork for us to sign they were going to give us $1000 less than we had agreed on, he said that this price difference was a "sales tax". Firstly, seller's do not pay a "sales tax", secondly, if a dealer purchases a vehicle from an individual, the dealer does not pay a sales tax on something that they buy for resale. Total scam and I'm sure they have used this same ploy on other unsuspecting individuals. Would not recommend doing business with this dealership at all!!!!

I would not recommend the dealership based on the experience I had with the Online Sales Manager. I asked very simple questions. Here they are - 1. Has this vehicle ever been in an accident? (sent me the carfax) 2. What warranty, if any, still exists? Is there extended warranty? (never gave me a straight answer on the existing warranty. Told me they had extended warranties after 5 emails exchanges) 3. Are there any dents, scratches, or dings, not depicted in photos? (did not answer right away, took 5 emails later) 4. Photos of the driver side is missing. Are there any? (answered within three emails) 5. What is the vehicle maintenance history on this vehicle? I'm looking for oil changes, tire rotations, recalls, etc. (could not answer accurately and told me it was in the car fax after 5 emails later. This is not a viable answer) 6. Are the front and back brakes original? (5 emails later answered) 7. Is there any cracks, nics, or chips on the windshield? (5 emails later answered) 8. Is the price negotiable on the vehicle? (not only avoided this question, but got irritated I even asked again in the fifth email to him) 9. What type of arrangements exist for pick up? (His response was an incomplete sentence I could not make out) He resisted on even discussing negotiations with pricing. He did not ask, "Hey let's discuss over the phone." It's a drive from where I live to go down to the dealership to buy a vehicle. I also do not have a spare car. I would need to get someone to drive me there. That's not only my time, but theirs plus gas too. That also means I need to get my finances in order and have a solid out the door cost of the vehicle prior to showing up. I do not think it's much to ask for and would of discussed further on the phone with him IF he actually would do his job. It's unfortunate that dealerships like this one don't put people first. In this example they failed because the sale wasn't as easy as taking money away from the consumer.

The dealership is wonderful. I could never say enough positive things about the salespeople as well as the receptionist. The staff in sales match the definition for professionalism. HOWEVER…The service department is horrible. Beware single working mothers. Please take a trusted person with you and ask questions! I feel I was grossly taken advantage of and I could have saved well over 500$ if I had brought my vehicle back to my hometown rather than using this service department. I hope to never have to go back. If I do, I will have a trusted person with me.
