To say my experience with Jacksonville Audi was a horror - Christine
To say my experience with Jacksonville Audi was a horror story is a massive understatement. Back in May, I worked out a deal to purchase a 2022 Audi S5 Sportback, Prestige with all the fixings. I was emailed the specs of the car with the VIN number and the car was scheduled to arrive at the dealership between 6/1/2022 to 6/9/2022. Right in the beginning of June, the sales manager, Jared Plummer called me to let me know that the car I’d put a $4,000 deposit on was being sold to a doctor that needed this car. What’s ironic is that I’m a doctor and was paying for this $80K vehicle in cash. Jared told me I’d have to get a 2023 S5, wait for it, couldn’t give me a ballpark price, and he let me know that Quantum gray isn’t available in the 2023 models. Ok, so to say I was irate doesn’t do it justice. I let him know that I wanted my $4K deposit credited immediately. So, Jared ensured me he was crediting my deposit and to wait a few days for it to show up on my credit card statement. Well, I waited more than a few days, and no credit, so I disputed the charge. I was back in touch with Jax Audi today and they fed me some new lies. They told me that they can’t credit my card because I disputed the charge. Really? All they had to do is notify the credit card company that they agree with the $4K credit. So to this very day, I have a temporary $4K credit. What’s better, is that I worked with a different Audi dealership today and am getting a 2023 Audi S5 Sportback, prestige with all the fixings, plus the Audi exclusive paint charge of $5,900 to get the Nardo gray color. The best part is that I’m paying the same amount that Jax Audi charged me for the 2022 S5 without the paint upgrade. Definitely check with unrelated Audi dealerships prior to purchasing an Audi in Jacksonville.
